POST 1: Job Shadow Day: January 6th
I arrived at my job shadow day at 10:30 and left at 12:00. I first went to the Oakland Airport and went striaght to the information desk to see where me meeting with my mentor would take place.

Post 6 "Grading Myself for WLE"
1. For Mastery of Knowledge i give myself a 4, becouse just last week, After being showed one time how to do so, i was making and going through with annual inspections of certain vehicles that were givin permits to come and do buisness at the Oakland Airport.
2. Application of Knowledge, as i said in my example above, I conducted annual inspections of vehicles who do buisness a the aiport. I was walked through the process of conducting those just once and then I did more than a dosen vehicles myself. This shows that I deserve a 4 becuase I succesfully applied that knowledge and completed a task with it on my own.
3. Metacognition
4. Leadership Skills, also last week i was asked to do a task on the computer by my mentor's secratary, I completed it alot sooner than she had expected me to do so. For this i give myself a 3.5
5. For CWH i give myslef a 4 because i am at my WLE so I obviously am respectful and attentive at all times.

Post 7: "Yours, mines, and who-evers"
So far i have read, George Jaszi, montrel, vittorio ,and bianca's blogs. i think that jaszi was very effective in writing her blogs because she is constantly updating and going into detail about what she is dong at her internship. to make my blog more effective I need to keep updating and editng my site on time to assure that i get credit for my work. it doesnt seeem to me that alot of people are writing their blogs from what i have read so far. I have decided that i am going to help Steven write his blogs because it looks like he needs a littlre help doing so. I dont think that I am learning more here than other people do at theirs, beacuse they are probably gettin very good at what they do if they only do one thing all day every week on the other hand I do alot of things eery day so i would say that i am learning a good number of mulitiple task. As i said before i do a number of diferent things every week so i dont ever really get bored of doing the sam old thing. On the other hand if that ever were to occur I would just ask my main mentor for some work to do and I know he wouldnt have a problem in finding any for me to complete. no, i didnt do any thing new today but i found out that i am going to be working with somebody on the 17th of this month that will be showing me what he does that has with jets.
Post 8: "Analyzing my Workplace"
I work at a very large workplace with well over a couple hundred people because it is an airport. I believe that students who work at a smaller worklplace probably dont come in contact with as many people as i do but probably by this time have a very tigh knit or close relationship with their mentors. in the area i work in their are two women and a man who work under my mentor, my mentorworks under one man which is the manager or head of the whole divsion of the airport that he works in. from what I can tell people at this workplace are very happy wit their bosses in general. on the other hand one of the women who work under for my mentor doesnt seem like she doesnt neccesarly to like my mentor but sometimes seems like she is irritated by him. I'm not sure exactly why that is but a reason could be that she works really close two his main office so she has to be around him all the time, and that might get some-what annyoing for her at times. my place of work is for sure a professional workplace, because most people here have to have college degrees of some sort to have the job they have. i enjoy working in a professional enviorment because it broadens my vocabulary, attitude, and also forces me to try to be two times more professional than they are, plus I like having to dress very nice when I come to work. it makes me think that if you want to work in a professional workplace, be around professional people, and be doing professional things, you need to get a college degree.
Post 9: "Dang! I ran out of pain meds"
Welp, my day pretty much sucked becuase i ran out of pain medications that I was taking, due to the aftermath of gettin my lower wisdom teeth extracted. All i did was stay at home lay in the bed and watch movies all day, the day was chill and that what i needed to stay at minimum pain. eventually my grandma brought me some more medication and that made my day.
Post 10: "Dont slip up"
I am completly on track with my WLE hours, i have worked since the secod wensday that we were supposed ta work and so far I will have worked 71.5 hours after today is over. The reason for that is that I work longer than most people do at their workplace on wensday, so i dont really have a problem racking up hours and I dont mind working a little longer to do so. Today was a pretty chill day, it was also my birthday so I was in the best of moods, i really enjoyed being at my WLE today even though I was in a rush to leave because i wanted to go have fun for the rest of the day for my birthday. I worked on the computer for a second earlier today. We left the airport for a while and went to walmart and to go eat over on hegenburger. I got back to the airport and i worked in our other office called the OMC for the remander of my day doing resaerch on different types of pilot jobs and careers.
Post 11: "Mentor interview"
My mentors name is lester Patilla, he is the lanside ground trasportation superintendent at the Oakland international airport. He basically deals with every vehicle that comes in and out of the airport to do any typreof buisness and regulates what they can and cannot do, he works from 8:30am to around 5:00pm from monday to friday.
Post 12: "How my WLE project is going"
So far for my project i have been gathering imformation and pictures for my brochure that i am going to be presenting for my wle exhibition. I am planning on presenting a brochure for my project that describes how my department helps the airport run. My plan to complete my project in time is to take more notes on what tha department does as a whole and take the pictuers and put them all on a brochure. it shouldnt take to long to finish up.
Post 13: "How my WLE project is going"
Today at my internship all I pretty much did was put sometype of parking ctation information in the computer all day. I didnt like it all and I really wanted to fall asleep. On top of that took my lunch a whole two hours late so i really felt that i was suffering. Actually I didnt really see my mentor today, and when i did are interactions were pretty brief. This week for my WLE project I took some more pictures and gathered up some more info for my project. My plan to complete my project in time is to take more notes on what tha department does as a whole and take the pictuers and put them all on a brochure.
Post 14: "Almost Done"
I am going to bring my mentor a cake from costco. haha. Just thought of that idea of the top of my head but its sound good to me so i am going to stick with it. I am not going to tell you what i am going to bring for the potlock becuase I dont want ta spoil the suprise. Iam going to have my granny make it so it going to be really good, thats the only information I am letting out. So far today at my wle I went to a meeting this about whats generally been going on at the airport recently, I also went to talk to some contractors this morning about a construstion job, and now im sitting here writing this blog.his week for my WLE project I took some more pictures and gathered up some more info for my project. My plan to complete my project in time is to take more notes on what tha department does as a whole and take the pictuers and put them all on a brochure.
Intro Post: How I got my WLE: Oct 26th.
I basically got my internship by calling a family friend that i knew, who i had known was a manager for several recording artist. He didn't answer but called me back at around 9:30 that night, so i was very surprised. He said it was automatic that he would help me out with anything, so of course he would let me intern with him. I had to use persuasive communication when I explained to him what wle was all about. My mentor's name is Morshe Frazier, and he runs Golden State Management.

I spent my whole day filling out online applications because I wasnt abble to got to my actual wle. I didnt go out of the house to turn in any applications or anything like trhat., i just sayed home and did everythig from the computer. I have a reliable internship but my mentor was out of town so i was obviously not able to be here and work with him.

All sorts of people in the music industry benefit from my internship. I work at at management companies, whos clients are producers, musicians, artist, and songwriters. The strengths of my work place is that they manage alot of high quality buisness, and does more than just manage one type of musicain. the only thing i can say my wle could improve on is making the office space a little bit neater and organized.
